Internship GPS base station – electronic design

About the role

At CEYAS, we are developing intelligent automation solutions for onsite trailer movements. We combine cuttingedge robotics with proven industrial automation to build safe, scalable autonomous systems that operate in realworld environments.
We are an early stage startup with a clear mission: to make yard logistics smarter, safer, and more efficient.

We are currently looking for a 3rd-year HBO intern who is available from February 2027 and is seeking an internship assignment in the field of robotics, perception, localization, or embedded systems.

Key responsibilities

Create an initial design for a base station that can be used on the yard to generate RTK correction data.

You will:

  • Investigate how to build a RTK base station.
  • Design a hardware setup to build an RTK base station.
  • Build an RTK base station at our test facility.
  • Evaluate the performance of our setup relative to other RTK sources.

Requirements

You are technically strong, pragmatic, and comfortable working in a startup environment where not everything is defined yet.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Embedded Software, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
  • Programming skills (e.g. Python)
  • Comfortable taking ownership
  • Fluent in English and preferred Dutch at B2 level
