About the role
At CEYAS, we are developing intelligent automation solutions for on-site trailer movements. We combine cutting-edge robotics with proven industrial automation to build safe, scalable autonomous systems that operate in real-world environments. We are an early-stage startup with a clear mission: to make yard logistics smarter, safer, and more efficient. We are currently looking for a 3rd-year HBO intern who is available from February 2027 and is seeking an internship focused on developing a simulation environment for testing and validating software updates in autonomous systems.
Responsibilities
- Model the yard, the vehicle and vehicle (perception) sensors such that closed-loop simulations can be done.
- Generate test use cases and develop a pipeline for automated execution of these use cases.
- Validate this specific set of use cases.
What we’re looking for
- Degree in Mechatronics, Embedded Software, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
- Programming skills (e.g., C++, Python)
- Experience with developing in game engines such as Unreal Engine is a nice to have
- Comfortable taking ownership
- Fluent in English and preferably Dutch at B2 level
